Fishing FUN!

The day after the backyard camp out we went fishing at Vivian Park.  It was such a fun day and everyone caught a fish or two!  I love to fish and I am not sure why.  I don't know how to tie the hook on, I won't touch the fish and I feel bad when they die.
Bear enjoyed fishing too!  He actually jumped in the water several times to chase a duck and I am sure scared a fish or two!

Ian had fun too until he got cranky!!  I think his teeth were hurting him because after this moment he started crying hard until he passed out!  Poor guy!
Um, did I mention what a beautiful place this is??  I really LOVE Utah.  It is so beautiful!

Weekend Camp out!

The kids wanted to go camping so I suggested a backyard camp out since it is still pretty cold in the mountains!  (and this was over a month ago...)  Above the kids are playing "tick tag toe"!
The tent fit nicely in the back yard!  It was a little chilly!
The kids had a blast and so did bear!  Sarah came inside about 10:30 because she was cold and Britten and Jeff came in about 3:30!  I was fast asleep in my bed the whole time!  My kind of camping!

Ian's Room is FINISHED! for the most part...

So I have to start by saying a HUGE thank you to my girlfriend CYNDI!!  She made his bedding and it is completely amazing!!  She is seriously one of the most talented people I know and those of you who know me well, know that she has taught me how to sew and make other fun crafts!  This fabric was the inspiration for Ian's room!  YEAH it is finally finished!  Well, almost I still need to hang things on the wall!

I had Jeff put a 3 inch bead board six feet tall with a trim around the top!  I love the bead board so much!  I also love that Jeff knows how to do this kind of thing.  I repainted an old dresser of Jeff's that his Pomp made for him years ago!  Solid wood!!

I'm so glad Ian is finally in his own room!  Even if it took us a whole year to get him there!  Now we have to finish the basement so Britten can have his own room!  He got the boot from Ian and has been a good sport up in the bonus room!

Sarah told me today, "I miss Jesus Mommy, that is why I am sad."  Then I told her how sweet she was and how much Jesus loves and misses her.  I also told her that every time she prays she is talking to Jesus and he loves to hear her prayers.  She says the sweetest prayers by the way.  I keep thinking I need to video both Britten and Sarah praying because they are so sweet and straight from the heart!

Britten turns 6!!

Britten was about 5 days old here!!  Where did the time go?
Britten wanted to see Monsters VS. Aliens for his birthday!  So we invited 10 of his friends and went to see the 3D movie!!  Then we headed next door to the pizza place to eat some pizza!!  These are a little out of order so...

Here is the group!!  Such good kids!  When we first talked about his birthday party I told him he could invite 10 friends because we were going to the movie!  The first name on his list was his kindergarten teacher Mrs. Reide!  How cute is that?  So she and her son came to his party!

Britten's birthday was on Sunday!  He wanted fajitas and his big cousin Porter came over to help us celebrate!  My kids LOVE him!

And the "Sunday suit" was from me!!  Britten wanted a new suit for his birthday and I think he looks so extremely handsome!!

Britten we LOVE you!  You have grown into such a sweet, happy, obedient, loyal, funny, good boy!!  We are so proud of you and the choices that you make!  I am so glad you came to our family first to lead the way for your brother and sister!
