summer, summer, summer time...

The summer started out for us with city league T-BALL. So, we signed Britten up and dusted off his mit (thanks to his girlfriend Sydney for the birthday present...). If you are ever in need of a good laugh just go watch a bunch of 4 and 5 year olds playing tball. You have kids running in every direction except the bases, laying on the grass, tossing their gloves, staring off in space... you name it, you see it. The funniest game was when we played this team that had a bunch of big kids, much older than our team. They took so much pride in winning and I don't think our team even knew they lost. Here are some pics of Britten in action, well, as much action as you can get. First pic, he is outfield waiting for the ball and in the second pic he is catching a ball, or no, maybe he has found a caterpillar, not sure... What a way to start of the SUMMER!

popsicle

So, little Sarah came in my room this morning after she woke up and said, "Mom, can I have a popsicle?" and of course I said, "No, not before breakfast, maybe this afternoon." So, she runs out of my room saying, "DAD..."

BELLA and BROCK

the newest members of the family. the sad news is that bella went missing after two weeks. we put signs up but could not find her. we got a new bella a few weeks later. both kittens are very sweet and good with the kids. they live outside and love to play in the tall weeds in the next door lot. britten and sarah love to play with their kitties.

mini BUTTERCUP

mini loves to be outside and eat grass. she loves to be held. she also loves carrots, celery and red peppers. she loves a clean cage and a blanket to hide under.

the SARAH aka the MERMAID PRINCESS

Sarah is so proud to be two! She also thinks she is a BIG girl, with a BIG girl bed, BIG girl panties, BIG girl chair!!! She loves to sing and dance! It is fun to listen to her singing all the time. She loves her big brother and misses him while he is at school. Sarah is so independent these days. We sure love her!

the BRITTEN

Britten is so much fun. He always keeps us laughing. He is such a social little boy full of curiosity. He is in his second year of preschool and enjoys it so much. He also started gymnastics this month. Today when I picked him up he said it was really hard and he got all hot and sweaty. He also loves to color and play outside.

the MOM!

leigh is very busy taking care of two energetic children. she is also involved with the younger children at church in the primary. leigh loves to be a mom! she loves to make fun crafts and sew in her spare time. she also very much loves the beach and is waiting for her husband to take her to the coast... yeah right!

the DAD!

Jeff loves being the DAD of our family. He is keeping busy in the construction business. He loves to be outside especially with his family. He always has to be doing something fun.
